Team Ontario completes Jr. Synchro Gold Medal Sweep

If so, Synchro Ontario's Junior Team will definitely light up the radar in a huge way upon their return from Cleveland Ohio and the 2008 US Open where they swept the Gold medals from the Junior Team Competition as well as the Duet and Solo events. Canada U17s close successful April camp
Canada's U-17 team wrapped up a successful camp in West Virginia and Pennsylvania over the weekend. The team had 22 players in camp from 11-21 April. The team also played four matches against university teams, posting one win, two draws and a loss. April 24, 2008

Two Grants to Fund Sport and Physical Activity for Girls - 2008
KidSport Greater Victoria is in its seventh year of providing support to kids and sport in the Capital Regional District. The funds raised by this committed group of volunteers help financially disadvantaged families with sport and physical activity registration fees. This grant funding program has traditionally been accessed more by males than females. KidSport Greater Victoria and ProMOTION Plus for Girls and Women in Sport and Physical Activity have partnered to create greater opportunity for female athletes in order to level the playing field.
